Ah, thanks for that Kevin.

I can tell you that the Goodmans cordless speakers' transmitter doesn';doesn't 
do this, which if you are using cordless phones for monitoring I find very 
useful.  I might if funds allow get hold of another set of these Goodmans 
speakers, or look around for another transmitter at reasonable cost.

You may also be interested to know that someone else, cannot quite recall who, 
makes a handy litle battery powered receiver that'll turn any headphones you 
have into a cordless pair.
