Hi Barbara Not managed to fall into this one, yet! Two thoughts come quickly to mind. Is it too easy to do a System Restore? Why not run the software you found on the net to look for any missing drivers. At least you'd then hopefully know what is missing and be able to narrow the search down for getting a replacement. Got the correct cables and managed to download the wireless adapter software from the Internet on my own PC. However, I still can't get the CD/DVD drive to work. I am not sure when it stopped working, but I removed a lot of unnecessary software from the PC last weekend and think I must have removed something I shouldn't have. I've looked under hardware and the drive is showing up and enabled. When I click on Trouble Shooting it tells me it can not open the help and support files as something is missing. I get the same message when I click on Help and Support on the Start Menu, so guess I did delete something essential by mistake. I've tried searching on Google for the correct drivers, but the only results I keep getting are for some software to check your computer to see if all drivers are up to date. Can anyone help on this one? Barbara
