This is very true Ray.

High speeds like that are ok if you just want to do a throw away audio cd or
even data cd.

But if your backing up even with cdr's I try and not go higher than 16x even
if the cd says it supports higher speeds.

I've learnt this the hard way many a time.

I'm also learning that the cheapest media is cheap for a reason. it may
pass this grade or that. But it really is true you only get what you pay
for.

Lot's of media I don't want to lose. So the next tiem i vbuy blank media I
won't be sparing any chas. The way I'm thinking of that extra expenditure
is going to be.

"Do i really want to have to re rip if not all then alot of my cd's again
and organise them again like I have"? I'm quite anal about
organisationCheers of my files on my computer.

I am not a fan of my documets adn my music folder, grin.
Bar.

"Some people think only intellect counts: knowing how to solve problems,
knowing how to get by, knowing how to identify an advantage and seize it.
But the
functions of intellect are insufficient without courage, love, friendship,
compassion and empathy".
