I hhad a lot of my cds ripped on to the computer too Roger, but don't want to get rid of the originals at all as I've spent a lot of money on them in the past. Also they've proved useful of course since my drive died.

Hi Donna

I think you have the same problem as most of us have. I in fact have a spare bedroom full of racks of CD's. But what I'm doing now is where I have several by the same artist I'm consolidating them onto DVD's and cutting the numbers down that way. Convert them into MP3 and put them onto the DVD discs and you can get 20/30 CD's on one disc. I've just bought a dual layer burner so whether that would double my storage capacity or whether it's going over the top I'm not yet sure.

Roger

You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me.

Guys, hope this is not inappropriate for this list.

I'm running out of storage for my cds and want to buy something else to put new ones in. Previously, I have used the square boxes with drawers in bought from Argos or Index which each hold 80 cds. Does anyone know if these are still sold anyway. They are reasonably good as they can be piled up on top of one another.

Otherwise, has anyone bought anything lately that they would recommend that holds a large amount of cds?

Looking forward to hearing from some of you

Donna
