OK, so what's the way to find out if your box has updated channels?

Okay, there is a way to find out whether your freeview box has updated.

From tomorrow some channels will change numbers, but the old numbers will
still work for a short while.

The childrens' channels will be changing, but I can tell you that the news
channels which start at channel 80 will now be found from channel 130.

This is supposed to happen late afternoon tomorrow.

Hi listers,

For those using Smarttalk, an audio announcement popped up last week. That
doesn't seem to happen with the TV-Onics though. Let's hope TV-Onics will
update automatically.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Carol,

There has been a sort of pop up thing coming up all the time which you would
not realise. Smile!

Norman.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your helpful comment. We'll check that out. I think we're
as organised now as we can be before the event and let's hope it all
just
happens!:)
I'm surprised that so little has been said about this and that the
only thing we heard was via this list, thankfully.
Cheers!

Carol,

If you look in settings on the TVonics, you can set it up to update
automatically. I think that is the default.

Well, we're just hoping only to do the TVONIX since we don't have
anyone readily available to do the TV.

We'll wait and see anyway!:)

0was very good point, I don't hear saga being promoted on radio so
plainly 0was they 0was are aiming their marketing at people who are

but
yes it is a 0was subliminal form of discrimination.
0was Marketing departments, especially those who work for very

0was increasingly
0was "targeted" marketing is the big game today go for the ones who
