Hi Ronnie,
Microsoft is providing the Browser Choice update to comply with a legal settlement with the European Commission. Microsoft is required to inform customers who currently use Internet Explorer as their default browser that there are other web browser choices available. You can use the Browser Choice update
to select and install the web browser you want to use on your computer.

Regards, Bruce

Subject: [access-uk] Browser Choice??

Hi all,
Recently I noticed there is a new Icon appearing on my Desktop.
I'm not sure where it came from and what it stand for, I do not see it on my control panel.
Any idea what "Browser Choice" Icon is about?
Just wanted to be a sure before I do deleting this new Icon.
I'm using IE version 6 and XP Home Edition.
Thank in advance.
Ronnie.
