Yes but the point is that however you receive your statements, you shouldn't, under any circumstances, receive somebody else's. That's gross incompetence and I've seen RNIB do it too.

Oh well, there's why online billing is the best, no print, no braille, justan email with your username telling you when it's going out, ande etc! -------------------------------------------------- From: "Jackie Cairns" <cairnsplace@xxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, June 22, 2008 5:48 PM To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Broadband update Hi Kevin It's personal choice, of course, but I opted to go with Sky a year agobecause I am a Sky customer anyway, so it made sense to pay the extra fiver, like you do, and have a decent download capacity and the famous "up to" 8MB speed. When I moved last month, I brought my Sky equipment with me and now have broadband up and running again. I've had a few small problems over the12 months which were all down to them, but it does me for what I need. Mind you, I really went off the deep end at them a fortnight ago when they sent me somebody else's statement which was in Braille. I told them in nouncertain terms what I thought of that as they'd obviously put my address onthis poor soul's bill, and I felt I had invaded their privacy.I guess you just have to go for what suits your pocket and your needs. Theyare all a con to be honest in one way or another if you study their small print. Your sentence "in my view Plus.net seems to be the ISP of choice for visually impaired people at least" I think should have ended after the "in my view". It's quite a statement to say that Plusnet are the ISP of choice for visually impaired people. Just to add a bit of balance, anyone that's an existing Sky subscriber would be more than a little crazy not to take their broadband deal which is free or £5 a month for 40GB download allowance per month. So, for a fiver, I get 8MB max speed with 40GB allowance, 10 e-mail addresses and have 4 computers simultaneously connected to the provided wireless router which I got for free. There's more on offer that I just don't take advantage of but this puts the Plusnet deal into perspective for anyone that's an existing Sky user - visually impaired or not. Having said this about Sky, I was with BT for years and I would have stayed with them if not for this ridiculously cheap deal from Sky. Regards. Does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with the said provider? We may get the £14.99 deal which gives us a 15 GB download usage limit. It was me who actually suggestedthem as I've done lots of reading on their website yesterday and, well, Idon't know what to say, no other broadband we were looking at (AOL, BT and Sky) can offer what Plus.net can. I do realize though that if we're to go for a free router and free activation, in that if we decide to cancel before the 12 month period, we'd have to pay an extortionateamount, but from what I can see they look promising and I doubt we would. So in my view Plus.net seems to be the ISP of choice for visually impaired people at least, but watch the small print regarding cancellation fees. Anyway, I look forward to your comments and feedback regarding this.
