Hi, well I've been finding my connection extremely stable where I am ever
since I had the line fixed. It sounds to me like BT found a problem when
setting you up and fixed it without informing anybody that's what they had
done. They aren't exactly the most transparent lol!

Cheers
Dave

we wanted that £5 deal as well but like you all they could offer was the sky
connect as they had run out of capacity in london so we've gone for bt where
we're finding that unlike plusnet where the speed was a little faster but
used to disconnect a lot like once an hour. with bt it stays connected but
is a little slower than bt. i think it's this area it's really rubbish for
speed, often it doesn't even reach to mb whilst i heard that in london 4 mb
was the average.

Sky Connect, where it's £17.00 a month, plus a £50.00 set up fee and there's
a 40 GB download usage limit. The fiver deal's nice, but not in our area. Oh
well. With Plus.net it would appear we can get any of their packages, and we
quite like the £14.99 deal. BT's nice too, but 30 quid for a wireless
router, when we can get one for free with Plus.net? Anyway thanks for your
thoughts, greatly appreciated.
