Hi Chris

Well that's the theory anyway. I'd keep checking because we weren't told originally. When I moved to Northampton, they told me I had to pay 50 quid to have it re-activated, but this info was also wrong, and I didn't have to pay that at all because I am an existing customer, and only wanted a transfer, so got a complete refund. Set it up and just keep checking.

Hi, thanks for the help. According to Sky online, they say that we'll receive a letter confirming the activation day, then on the day itself they'll telephone the purchaser, to whom this is my father, and state that it's been done. Does this sound right? It did come from official sources (www.sky.com), so it should be. Thanks again.

I'm inclined to suggest not. The confirmation package may
well contain information required to activate things.

Have you tried contacting them by telephone?

George.

Hi all,
Should we set up the Sky Broadband Connect package,
including setting up the router, despite we've not received
any activation confirmations? Thanks in advance for
answering my question.
