Hi I have been with Demon now for 13 years and find the service good. As well as a POP3 service, there is also a web based interface. The only problem is with the billing department who are a bit chaotic! I'd suggest you look at demon.co.uk. They've been in the business a very long time. They were about when I had my account with Compuserve. Those were the days. <smiles> We brought an ADSL modem from ebay. A power seller who has help forums, telephone support and sells many referbished BT Voyager modems and routers. His service is excellent. Just search for BT Voyager and you'll find his shop. Gena On Thu, 2008-06-19 at 11:19 +0100, christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > Hi dave, many thanks for this. The problem with that is that as we don't have any equipment for broadband access, it would cost us too much initially so far as i can tell. I know they would send you the equipment for free if we stay with them for 12 months or more, but it's the case of whether we like them or not, i don't know. > -- > this email has been sent via my phone > > - original message - > Subject: [access-uk] Re: Broadband > From: "Dave Taylor" <dave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 19/06/2008 8:55 am > > hi, sounds like both BT and AOL try to make you install extra software.
