Truth is g4s have taken over the contract from accurread, g4s are frankly
dreadful at reading metres. For this very reason I went with a smartmetre
which reads automatically, practically begged for the dam thing. G4s are
the ones to complain to through britishgas.

Hi all
a long storrey hear
but we cannot seem to get our metre read it has not been done for the last
two and a half years.
what ever we do ringing brittish gas emailling or what ever no body comes to
read our metre.
we cannot have a smart metre as the company egt who trandsponds the gas to
us cannot supply us with one.
wonder if anyone knows who we should complain to ofgem maybe or who ever
thanks.
