Hi.

My only comment here is not directly relating to the Brailliant but towards
using the mac with the latest operating system with a Braille display,
specifically a focus 40.

Although by no means perfect it is absolutely usable for basic things
especially in conjunction with speech.

Personally I used it for fTP, e-mail twitter and safari, as well as basic
text editing with pages.

My wife doesn't use speech at all and uses braille for primarily e-mail and
twitter plus some text reading.

So, Braille is certainly functioning with the mac, it needs a heck of a lot
of improvement but then that's always been the case.

Hi David

I can't comment on using a Brailliant with a Mac, but mine works really well
with My IPhone.

I assume you have tried to work through your problems with Humanware, right?

Hi,
Now having come to a full stop with my brailliant and Sierra, and so far
Apple has not found an answer to my problem I have tried to see how the
Brailliant will work with my iPad Mini.
It seem that I am having some similar problems with my iPad Mini. Not  only
are some buttons are not labeled, but my Brailliant keeps stopping to work
and I am having to switch off the Brailliant and the iPad and then switch
them back on again.
I would like very much to here from others how use a refreshable braille
display and how your Braille display work with your iPad? or am I at that
stage of my life that I have now to go back to using a windows computer?
I am sorry that this email is quite long, but I am now feeling very
frustrated, and not shore witch way to go for help?
