Hello Everyone.
I have a problem that I hope someone can assist me with. I have been
asked to produce some hymn sheets for a church. I have access to a
binding machine and I would like to bind the pages together. Here is
where my problems begin. An A4 binding cover is a standard A4 size. it
measures roughly 21 CM by 29 CM. The exact measurements in MM are 210
times 297 MM. The embosser Braille paper measures 21 CM by 30.5 CM. This
in short means that when the sheets are bound and you put a cover on the
front and back, the Braille paper sticks out at the bottom and looks odd
as it is not in line with the cover. I have looked online and can't seem
to find binding covers specifically for the size of Braille paper I
have. I have looked on the S&S website and also on RNIB and none of the
paper sizes offered are exactly A4 in size. Where on earth are people
buying A4 embosser paper from? Surely there wouldn't be an option on the
embosser to print on A4 if A4 embosser paper was not available? Although
websites state the paper is A4 size, it always seems to turn out to be
slightly larger than A4. My current batch was purchased from Techno
Vision. If anyone has any ideas on what I can try to make the document
look professional, short of cutting down each sheet individually to
match the cover size I would really appreciate your comments. I look
forward to hearing from you all and many thanks in advance.
Very best wishes,
Mo.
