Hi Ian, If it is a .brf file, and if you know how the file is formatted (Lines per page and characters per line) you can often simply use the print command from the Command prompt to direct the output to your braille embosser. For instance, have Braille drivers installed to run through another program? =20 Cheers=20 Ian. =20 iancbev@xxxxxxxxxxx=20 MSN ianbev72@xxxxxxxxxxx=20 Skype bevers01 -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of George Bell Sent: 04 January 2007 22:23 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: brailleuk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Braille drivers Hi Ian, Can you give us a specific for instance explaining what you mean? For instance, if receiving Braille files (of whatever nature), can you have a Braille driver running from your computer regardless of whether you have say Duxbury or not? =3D20 =3D20 Cheers=3D20 =3D20 Ian. =3D20 iancbev@xxxxxxxxxxx=3D20 MSN ianbev72@xxxxxxxxxxx=3D20 Skype bevers01 =3D20 ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3D3Dunsubscrib e] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3D3Dfaq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq --=3D20 No virus found in this incoming message.
