Hi Eleanor, I think it is because FS haven't produced any 5th Edition Symbian drivers. This means it will only work with 3rd Edition phones. Sight & Sound are aware that it does not work with the N97 Mini as I told them. Also informed Freedom Scientific. Maybe it has to do with N97 Mini being a 5th generation phone but it works well with the other phones. Don't Sight & Sound have a service, well they did when Jackie worked there, where someone would come out and show you a Braille display, in that case, the person could try it with our phone and then you would know before purchasing it. There is a really nice man at Freedom Scientific who uses the Focus Blue all the time with his phone. I wrote to him too re the drivers but whether they do anything about it or not is anyone's guess. While I was disappointed, I have to say of course that the Focus Blue is excellent in conjunction with PC also. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Catherine Turner" <catherineturner2007@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2010 9:24 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Braille display options > Ah.
