Christopher,

Many thanks for th einfo.

I am using Braillemaker for the translation program but I only use grade 1.
I tend to save the files as text only files but work on them in Word so I
can see how many chars per line I have and keep it under the embosser limit.
This usually means I get from the embosser what I have on the page. It is,
as you say, sometimes a bit hit and miss though.

Thanks again,

Mark Threadgold

Hello Mark,

You should get 28, possibly 29 characters per line, which allows for a
sufficiently wide margin for punched holes. You will get 29 lines per page.

It can be quite a struggle, as well as a waste of paper, getting everything
right, with possible conflicts between the format of the original document,
the translation software and the embosser DIP switch settings. What
translation software are you using?

Hope this helps.

Christopher
