Hello,
In general, unless you like coltural things, just get the US firmware. No offence to anyone, but it works just as well, and it announces short cut keys, unlike the UK one. The only thing, though, is that you can't set your own computer braille table, but if you use UEB, you can use grade 2, and if you use UK, you can use your own UK table, so that's no longer an issue, either.

How long is a piece of string? (smile.) It€셲 good, but goodness knows when it will be on general release. You could grab the US version as 8.5 is out elsewhere!!

Hi Eleanor

I€셪l do my best:

1. Go into the Email application.

2. Use chord M to open the menu, and go to Tools.

3. There is an item in this menu called Accounts Manager. Open this.

4. Use the dots four-five with space to tab to Add Account.

5. In this section, complete all the fields relevant to the account you wish to set up. You obviously need your username, password, Email address, incoming and outgoing server info etc.

6. You can also tab to the Advanced section to check the various boxes for SSL encryption, keeping messages on the server etc.

7. When you have entered all the information, tab to the Confirm button, and you should be done.

When the new firmware is released in the UK, you will be able to choose from five options at the beginning: Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, and manual setup.

Kind Regards,

Hi All, I would like to set up e-mail on a Braille Sense but do not know if this is possible. The e-mail account is a Gmail one. Cold someone kindly tell me (off list if necessary) so as not to clutter the list, how to do this from scratch!!! Many thanks.
