Hi David,

I don't recall seeing that Email, so I apologise that you didn't get a reply.

I believe we can still get the Booksense batteries, as can RNIB, so you should
be OK. If you care to ring me on 01438 742286 I'd be happy to help.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Booksense repair advice please

In June last year my Booksense had a dunking in water and stopped working. It
is now in the hands of a computer volunteer who says it still has life in it
and should work if he can get the spare parts.

The first one is a new battery and/or a new jack plug for the charger. I’ve
tried the original supplier, Comproom, but no reply.

Any advice about who to contact please.

David Tregellas
