Hi Ibrahim, yes, I've done all that, been to the website, downloaded the transfer tool, but I can't get what is on my computer to go in to the courier. Phew, this is harder than I could have ever imagined. Hi Christeen. Wow, the book courier is a very old piece of kit, I don't know many people still packing these devices. The Book Courier website should still be up, its at www.bookcourier.com. As far as I know although there probably wont be many subscribers to it now, the BC mailing list should still be in operation. My advice to you would be to download the user manual and latest version of the transfer tool software, check that your Courier's firmware is up to date and then use the Daisy transfer function in the transfer tool to import your book in to the courier. I can't remember the exact procedure, but it should be obvious enough when you have the documentation. All the best and take care, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Christine Weetman To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 11:52 PM Subject: [access-uk] Book Courier question Please? Hi, Nice to be back on the group again after a time away, now my question is: I have just purchased a secondhand book courier and I think it's Great. I've been using it like I had my ZenStone MP3 player, (which a few of us on this group purchased and played with when they came out and what fun we had chatting and helping each-other), but now I want to get to know my courier better and get more out of it. I'd like to play daisy talking books from RNIB talking books and am having problems getting my courier to read the book, now I have downloaded the transfer tool software and have removed all the other things I had on my Courier and would love to fill it Properly. Please, is there an emailing group still up and running which I can join? If so, could you please let me have the emailing subscribe info? Thanks for any help. Regards, Christine W.
