Jackie,

Picking up on Barbara's post, I expect you have your computer networked already and that therefore you've given him/her a name! <Smiles> If so then her comments may not apply and I can only think that maybe you haven't been able to follow instructions given by someone yesterday about right clicking in the system tray and selecting an option to transfer files, or something, that way and making sure your computer and phone are visible to each other (bluetooth turned on for each) and that one is searching for the other. I rather suspect though that I'm telling my grandmother how to suck eggs here and that you've been all through the saga and still (probably rightly) think it's a software conflict, but thought I'd just come in because I can't see that there really should be this problem. (Stranger things havfe been known to happen though).

If you think we can help further, of course tell us what you've tried so far - otherwise, sorry, cadn't do more this time around!

Cheers.

Hi Barbara

I'm having a similar problem on the NC10. I definitely suspect it is
the added Samsung software causing the problem, but I'm dubious about
removing it in case I can't put it back in if I really have to. Not
much help to you this, but if anyone knows more about Bluetooth, feel
free to spill!!

Subject: [access-uk] Bluetooth on my Asus

I have recently purchased an Asus Eee PC 901 Netbook. It is a fantastic
little device, but more on that later.

I have been trying to use the Bluetooth and while it says it has an
internal Bluetooth erial, when I try to open the Bluetooth software it
is telling me my Bluetooth device is not connected. Surely I don't need
a dongle when there is an internal Bluetooth erial? I know someone else
on this list has one of these netbooks, but can't remember who. I would
be greatful for any help offered.

Barbara
