But thanks for the info.

Steve, have you seen the information I have provided regarding this bug and
how I have resolved it? I will repeat it here so forgive me for those of you
who have already seen it.In iOS 9 Apple have dealt with this issue and what
one has to do for double characters are being inserted is to go to settings,
general, accessibility, and under accessibility there is keyboards. there is
then a setting where I buy one can turn off double characters! following
this I turned voice-over off and then turn voice-over back on. hey presto
the problem is gone!

Hi Eleanor,

I don't know the answer to your question, but this is one of those
long-standing iOS bugs that has come back in anger.

Hi All, none of my bluetooth keyboards work on any of my iOS devices!!! OK
I

am talking about in editing mode and writing. Double letters are produced

and no matter what I try I cannot get this resolved. I have tried turning

voice over off and back on again to no avail. Have tried turning quick
nav
off and on again. Any ideas please? Oh yes, I have even tried without
voice over and still double letters.
