I am also getting this error. I wonder if this is what has just fried my
second laptop in the lounge?

But in the bluetooth devices page, I have no listed items. In the Ports
window, I have no listed ports. In the hardware section, I have no listed
items. In the Options window, I enable discovery and get a systems error
alert that reads:
Bluetooth Service Error
An error occurred while Windows was saving your settings. The following
settings were not saved:
Discoverability settings
Connection settings
OK Button.

Hmmm.
Unfortunately, I think the user manual for Nokia assumes you have an enabled
connection already.
Anyone know of any mp3 tutorials on enableing bluetooth?

You need to pair the devices I think. How this is done I don't know, but
there should be somethihng in the blue tooth help guide telling you how to
pair the module with the phone.
at least pairing divices is how you get a headset to work with a phone,
logic dictates that is how you get a pc to work with the phone too? I have
a blue tooth phone, but I connect using USB connection.
