Hello,

It would appear that no blue badge holders receive reminders of impending
expiry dates. It can be argued that at the very least, blind people should get
a reminder in their chosen format when blue badges, bus passes and disabled
person's rail cards are coming up to their sell-by date, on the grounds that
our cards are more likely to lapse because we don't have the luxury of
independently reading the printed date on the cards themselves. You might be
able to check the date with a little help from your friends or your technology,
but neither of these checks are as straightforward as glancing at the card and
thinking: "Gosh! June 2015! Better do something about that!"

Best,
Clive

Hi Chris,

Yeah, kind of useless rubbish that the Government Braille for you. My passport
for example, I asked to have it Brailled and it merely says Passport. How
imaginative. I now have my passport number writen on it in Braille which I did
myself.

All the best

Steve
