I believe you won't need to use the page tools to add links into your
blog. Even if they're accessible, they're a bit time consuming for
screenreader users anyway.
I find it far simpler and quicker just to write the HTML code. I believe
Word Press allows you to use HTML within its text body.
So if you want to link to the BBC's Ouch website, wrap an A HREF tag
around it with the URL in the quote marks.
<a href="url goes here">linked word goes here</a>
My example would look like:
<a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/";>BBC Ouch</a>

Newsgator in-box is even matter as it is now free and has been some time
and yes you can publish to you blog from outlook.
Downside is I haven't yet sussed out how to tag posts from within
newsgator inbox.
I have and do still occasionally used the wordpress web interface but
haven't done so to create a new post for a while so can't remember
exactly how one thing to note is that there is a code view / format view
toggle, the former gives you a free text entry field in to which you can
type raw html code and this is far more screenreader friendly but I'll
investigate where and how to access that control and the message entry
field. Certainly about a year ago I was using the wordpress web
intrerface just fine and ran some classes training others to do so.

There are a couple of options.
1. Use Microsoft Word 2007 and its blogging tool which directly supports
Wordpress. so you can create a post in Word including with headings and
just write them, posting direct from Word. It's probably not as clean as
HTML but worth doing.
2. Use Newsgator Inbox at
www.newsgator.com
If you buy this application, it allows you to view all your RSS feeds
even in Outlook 2003 and you can if I recall install a plug-in to post
material directly to a Worddpress blog.

My scuba diving club has set up a blog style website using Wordpress
but I cannot post with it.
Filling in the form for a post I can do everything but the field for
your message.
This field is a mini application running on the page that converts
links into clickable links and allows you to use text formatting.
Using Hal 9 I cannot get any focus into the field box to allow me to
type anything.
The
chap who has created and maintains the site is going to try to write
an html interface for me to use when he has time.
This is most annoying as I am chairman of the club this year, and I
cannot contribute to the website without getting someone else to post
things up for me!
