The same thing happened to me, I received the automatic welcome messages
but nothing from members. So, I sent off a test message to the group
which got through since when I have been receiving messages from other
members.

I am not certain whether I have successfully subscribed to the
Blind IPod list, I sent an email as advised, also visited the website,
in both instances appeared to get a confirmation, but another email
requesting confirmation. I guess this is a discussion list, have there
been any postings yet?
        I await developments.
