Greetings,

saw this on the BestCircleOfFriends group and thought it may be of use
especially to novices.

BleepingComputer.com (
Bleeping Computer is a community based site for novice users to learn the
basics about computers and technology.

from the site "...Bleeping Computer is a community devoted to providing free
original content, consisting of computer help and tutorials, in such a way
that beginning computer users can understand."

This site is an awesome resource for computer beginners and up. The
tutorials and guides are very well done and the range of content is
impressive. There are tutorials on operating systems (Mac, Linux,Windows),
networking, hardware, tablets, programs, browsers, basic computing concepts,
photo imaging, internet and hardware.
The site has virus removal guide, a very well done startup program database,
a glossary and an active forum with sections on operating systems, hardware
and software, security, internet and networking, gaming, gadgets, and more.
This is a great place to find information and ask questions on a variety of
subjects for novice computer users as well as those with more experience.
