Hi John

You might not want this recommendation, but I think Alexa is as good as
anything out there.  You can choose the alarm sound, different alarm times,
and you can have her in a variety of flavours now such as Echo, Echo Dot,
GGMM speaker, multiroom speaker system like Sonos, and you get a better
radio quality than DAB can ever offer.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] Bedside Radio

Hello list,

My bedside radio has just about given up after quite a few years. It was a
Pure Sonus radio and I was pleased with its performance.

I am now looking for a replacement.
At one time there was a Pure Tempus-1 which additionally had an element of
TTS built in. Unhappily Pure have stopped marketing these radios.

Could I please have some recommendations for a replacement?
My criteria are:
Bedside size, I.E. not a Hi-Fi component.
DAB facility.
At least two alarms, I.E. one for weekdays and one for weekends.
Snooze capability.

TTS would be a sought after bonus.

Thank you.

Regards, John.
