Hi.
If you cursor up your system tray whilst Backup is running, you will find
‘Backup in progress’. In my system tray this comes immediately above my wifi
connection info. After the backup has completed the message changes to
something like ‘No issues’.

I’m running Windows 7 Pro and each Sunday at noon it does a scheduled back up
of my primary drive. How can I find out when it has completed this task
