Thanks Larry, After a few false starts yesterday I'm forced to agree with you. I went through several pages of forums that seemed to suggest it could be done but using suggested IMAP settings I found that it can't.

I'm now considering going over to GMail because it can pull in my BT Mail and then treat it like IMAP.
Cheers

Hi Yusuf

Bt doesn't allow for IMAP I'm afraid even though their email uses the Yahoo

Subject: [access-uk] BT and Imap

Hi, Has anyone attempted to set up IMAP using a bT account? Is it as simple
as simply putting IMAP.mail.yahoo.com in the server box of my email client
when setting up the account?

My plan is to create various folders on the server and if I'm using IMAP
those folders will automatically be created on the computer, whatever
computer that is. I won't have to fiddle about with dbx files ever again.

At least that's the plan.

Any ideas?
Yusuf
