I don't know what kind of contract you have with BT, but you could either wait until it is up for renewal, if you are tied in for a period, or pay to pull out. If not committed, then just go to the Plusnet website and look at the signing up links -

I am with BT, how would I move to plusnet? -----Original message----- From: ANDY COLLINS Sent: 27/04/2013, 11:35 am To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: BT Yahoo website query Andy - I've been with Plusnet for over 10 years, and can highly recommendthem. Easy to talk to and get things resolved [there's been hardly any issueto resolve anyway] and their website is very accessible too - Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "andrew shipp" <andrew.shipp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 27, 2013 6:50 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: BT Yahoo website queryOn this subject of BT, I've just had my notice of the for coming changes. Just as well as my contract with them is due for renewal so I have started to look around for another supplier. Has anyone else done this recently if so who did you find the best just now? I'm currently looking at Plus net. seem to be one of the better ones. but do I go with them as they are part of BT? Lot of thinking to do hear. This may be worth a try. I know it worked for my wife Tracy but didn't for me for some strange reason. 1. Change your screen resolution to 600 by 800 2. Log in to your new BT account 3. You should get a message that says this resolution is not supported and give you the option to use the classic view instead of the new view or change your resolution. 4. Select the classic view. 5. Change your resolution back to your preferred settings. The web site should now look very similar to it's previous appearance. Regards. But I log onto the site most days now to check, and always find some messages from lists have wandered into their folders, so I check the box and move them to the Inbox, and they come into Outlook. This is very easy to achieve with the old software on their site. But now I have created another address, the new software is murder to navigate. I tried explaining my circumstances yesterday, about four times, but the guy I spoke to, while pleasant, simply said there was nothing else he could do, everything is correctly configured. But thanks for that number, I will try it and see if I get any further. They advised me that my existing details log onto the old software page, whereas my new information uses the new version. So it would seem that anyone creating a new account, or updating an existing one, will encounter this problem if they use their website. I still use Outlook 2003, and all my mail comes to me that way into folders under rules I have created. But I do sometimes have to check the BT Yahoo site to move any messages that have crept into the Spam or Trash folders to Outlook. This is going to be more difficult to achieve now with the new-style page, but at least I have clarification that I have configured everything correctly. If anyone else has a BT account, and knows how best to navigate the BT Yahoo page once they have logged in, it would be most helpful. Thanks for your help. I'm only wanting to clarify your view as I thought you may have misunderstood my message. Although I don't have the same problem regarding the spam and trash folders, as I don't use webmail and have my messages passing through my e-mailclient, as well as the fact I have some residual vision and therefore useboth magnification and a screen-reader in conjunction with each-other, I can understand why you are having problems with the webmail.
