HI Jackie:seems you won't get very far with that number now, while that used to get you through to an advanced technical team, who spoke English, it seems the number now reroutes to the normal 0800 111 4567 number which is general technical support. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <jackie.cairnsplace@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Martin The SpamGuard, as BT calls it, is turned off, which should, in theory at least, allow any junk or spam to go into those folders in Outlook. But Ilog onto the site most days now to check, and always find some messages from lists have wandered into their folders, so I check the box and move them tothe Inbox, and they come into Outlook. This is very easy to achieve withthe old software on their site. But now I have created another address, thenew software is murder to navigate. I tried explaining my circumstancesyesterday, about four times, but the guy I spoke to, while pleasant, simply said there was nothing else he could do, everything is correctly configured. But thanks for that number, I will try it and see if I get any further. They advised me that my existing details log onto the old software page, whereas my newinformation uses the new version. So it would seem that anyone creating anew account, or updating an existing one, will encounter this problem if they use their website. I still use Outlook 2003, and all my mail comes to me that way into foldersunder rules I have created. But I do sometimes have to check the BT Yahoosite to move any messages that have crept into the Spam or Trash folders to Outlook. This is going to be more difficult to achieve now with the new-style page, but at least I have clarification that I have configuredeverything correctly. If anyone else has a BT account, and knows how bestto navigate the BT Yahoo page once they have logged in, it would be most helpful. Thanks for your help. I'm only wanting to clarify your view as I thought you may have misunderstood my message. Although I don't have the same problem regarding the spam and trash folders, as I don't use webmail and have my messages passing through my e-mail client, as well as the fact I have some residual vision and therefore use both magnification and a screen-reader in conjunction with each-other, I can understand why you are having problems with the webmail.
