Thanks.

I managed to get it via an old version of the help system, with one or two
upgrades. Have you found the unnamed links at the top of the new interface
yet? They can be a pain.

From btinternet.com

Log in and go under my accounts.

I think I got it in there.

I'm not writing with a problem on this I'm actually writing to let you guys
know my experience of it.

I was on the phone with a good friend earlier today and we where chatting
back and forth about computer entworks and the topic of my extremely slow
download speeds came up.

We're on BT Broadband Option 3 here, which is what 4 or 6mb?

Anyway's I'm downloading from a host of websites at on average 20, sometimes

as nlow as 15k and no higher than 70k. Even at the beginning of a transfer.

No servers or peer to peer running at these times.

So i thought I'd check out the above program. We joked about how it might
be unusable and indeed it may have been. I found it very useible in it's
latest release.

There's about 5 links that dont' read because I think they're written in XML

and therefore the tagging etc is different to HTML.

All i did was remember what they did and got myself into a live online
support chat with a BT technician!

It's open 24-7 365. Very useible with JFW v6 and Win Eyes v6.1.

I didn't get really that much helpful advice. Basically told to bog off and

come back on the 28th because the service was put in on the 18th and we need

to wait ten days. It'll be monitored for poro service. I'd say anyone
getting 15k on a 4 to 6mb connection has poor service but... Hey! i'm not
going to be cranky, I'm quite jazzed that the online support screen read
lovely!

That's all, just wanted to tell and advise others not to rule it out as an
option.

It's a bit BS about detecting security stuff and hardware specs for the
computer health but it's a broadband support utility.

They probably through that feature in, in the last minute.
