My adapter has a USB plug at one end, and a nine pin Serial Female at the other. You just plug the worm into the nine pin Female, as the worm has a nine pin male, and then plug the USB end into your PC. You can't get it wrong, and you can't plug the Worm in directly. These are nothing special and any USB to Serial converter should work, even without XP drivers. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. I suppose what I'm wondering is whether I'd need just a cable with serial to USB or an adaptor with all sorts of fancy Dan drivers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
