George,

Thanks. You know, I'd been there but didn't see the vertical alignment bit!
That's what I needed/wanted! <Smiles>

I followed your instructions, realised I'd been there a number of times ... so
slowed down, checked each item and that's when I saw the vertical setting I'd
missed ...

Hi Carol,

I can only give you the keystrokes as used without a screen reader in use, so
here's hoping:

Tap the Alt key - Visually a series of letter will appear all over the ribbon.

Press letter p as in papa to put focus on the Page Setup section of the
ribbon. - Visually there will be different letters appear all relating to Page
Setup options.

Now press the letter s (as in sierra) and then letter p (as in papa) one
after the other. This should bring up the Page Setup dialog.

As this is as previous versions of Word, hopefully you'll be OK from there.

George

Hi all,

I'm trying to centre text vertically on a page using Word 365 and failing to
understand (follow) all the instructions.

I get the first and then ...

The instructions I've read say:

Center the text between the top and bottom margins
1. Select the text that you want to center between the top and bottom
margins.

2. On the Page Layout tab, click the Page Setup Dialog Box Launcher, and
then click the Layout tab.

3. In the Vertical alignment box, click center.

How does a VI accomplish this, please?

Where else might I get this kind of instruction, for VI's with keystrokes, I
mean?
