David, is there any left and right channel sound issue with BC? I remember
some list members discussing such issue in the past.

Thank you.

Hi Ali

I recently purchased a pair of portable speakers for use with the
BookCourier and also my Iriver H340 MP3 player and I am very happy with
them. I recommended them to another member of this list and she is also
very satisfied with the speakers. They are the JBL Ontour speakers. I
think the cost is around ?69 but amazon have them for ?47 and one of the
Amazon market place sellers was selling them for ?29 plus ?4.50 postage
which is what I paid. They use four AAA batteries and are supposed to last
around 25 hours before a battery change. Just plug one end of the supplied
cable into the speaker system and the other end into the Courier, and off
you go. You can also run the speakers from the mains.

Hi,
I am thinking of getting pair of portable speakers for my BC. Can anyone
recommend one?

I also recollect a discussion about some sort of an adaptor for BC to get
both right and left channels working, can anyone remind me what it was
please?

Thank you.
