Derek I have JAWS 6, and I obviously have the right things installed, as the links you gave work well. Here's what I found. The first link is a page of search results for guide dog. Using H to go down the headings, I came to one that said "results from BBC audio and video". Cursoring down a few from there I got to "guide dogs stay with families". Just below that it says "link graphic, small video icon". I pressed enter on that, and got a new browser window which asked for my preferences. This is because I have both Windows Media Player and Real Alternative, so it wanted to know how I wanted to hear the story. I pressed the appropriate radio buttons, pressed ok and it played. Having heard that one, I cursored down a bit further to the story about the pub, pressed enter on "small video icon", and it played. The clip did seem to be cut off in mid sentence at the end, but I don't think that was a fault at my end. The second link was even easier. I just put the URL in the open page box, pressed enter, and it played straight away. On this page I pressed H three times to get to the story headline. Just below this it says "macromedia flash movie start". Below that the button is accompanied by the story headline, and below that is a "play this again" button which you can press if you want to hear it again. As I said, I only have JAWS 6, and I believe earlier versions don't support flash, but I am quite impressed with the way this site works. One thing I would suggest is that you might have personalised settings for the BBC news site which have turned flash movies off. I sometimes do this for annoying sites where flash doesn't seem to produce anything other than pictures. To check this out, when you are on the site, press insert shift V. You then get a list of options which you can cursor down. The quickest way is to keep pressing F till you hear "flash movies". It will either say on or off, and if it says off, press the space bar to turn it on. I hope all this helps.
