Thanks for pointing out the snagg of pages with frames James, (rhyme unnintededunintended, smile.) I am not sure that I've come across frames being used on the Beeb's site, but I wouldn't be catagorical on that point. Just occasionally I find that a frame contains precisely what I want, minus a lot of extranuous links, but as you seem to be saying, it can be an unpredictable result that you get. However, there are a couple of situations in which this doesn't | work too well. Firstly, some pages are configured in such a way that the | address bar is not visible. Secondly, if your cursor is inside a frame, | looking at the address bar will sometimes give you the address of the page | being used to generate the frame (this can sometimes happen in the BBC Radio | Player). When this happens, and you load a page which under normal | circumstances would be presented as a frame on another page, you can | sometimes get unexpected results. | | James | ----- Original Message ----- ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
