I had this forwarded tome. Vocaleyes - describing the arts Audio Description at Olympics and Paralympics 2012? Would you go if events were audio described? Dear FriendYou may be aware that registration for applications for tickets for the Olympics
opened at the beginning of this week.We at VocalEyes have been in discussion with the RNIB and the Olympic authorities to try to ensure that there will be provision of description around all the events, sporting and cultural, at both the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games. This would mean that if blind and partially sighted people were interested in being present at what will be the biggest celebration of culture and sport in the UK for years,
they could access and enjoy them along with everyone else.Could you let me know if you would consider going to the events if they were accessible
in this way?NB events includes the Torch Relay, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Medal Ceremonies, and the Cultural Events which will be happening in the Olympics Sites and the Live
Sites around the country Kind regards Judy Dixey Executive Director Vocaleyes - describing the arts Address: First Floor, 54 Commercial Street, London, E1 6LT Phone: 020 7375 1043 Email: enquiries@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Website: http://www.vocaleyes.co.uke
