Thanks for the info, but I am not prepared to spend fifty quid just to join
so I can borrow a single book. I am trying to find somewhere it is
available for sale at a reasonable price in stnadard audio CD format.

I can confirm that this book is available for loan from the RNIB library
catalogue. The duration of the audio book is 17:52 and the catalogue number
13621. There are an additional 12 books available by the same author.

You can look at RNIB books in all formats there. The book you want appears
to be available as a CD you can borrow from the TB library, or listen to as
a stream.
