Hi,

Which mode are you trying to play them in? Audio or Books? It should be
recognised, I use Audible on my 312.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Audible.com files and Milestone 312

Dear Listers,

I have bought a number of books from Audible.com and have downloaded them
via the "Audible Manager" onto my computer.

I have followed the procedure to "activate" my Milestone and have
successfully transferred the book files onto it. The problem is that the
Milestone doesn't recognise them (behaving as if they weren't there).
Indeed, it does not even recognise the folder "Audible" which was created
specially to contain the downloaded files. Both the files and the folder are
visible in Windows explorer if I examine the Milestone when it is attached
to the computer through the USB cable.

Is there anything else I need to do for the milestone to recognise and play
the .aa files? It seems very odd that the Audible Manager includes it as an
activable player but then it isn't compatible.

Incidentally, the pocket plextalk worksperfectly and recognises and plays
the files without any problems .

Suggestions welcome.

Many thanks and best wishes

Robert
