Thanks Amro.
I think I may have to admit defeat on this. I did eventually find
information on Audible on the different ways in which you can play the books
but when I attempted to download the Audible Windows 10 app, I got a message
saying my account was unsafe. Only this afternoon I had to verify, so I
don't know why they think my account is unsafe.

Hi Alison,
There are several ways of doing this, but Id say the easiest is to install
the Audible Windows 10 app (I assume its Windows 10 you are using )and use
it to download books. The app allows you to either download the whole book
to your hard drive (which is what you are after), or stream the book without
downloading. Also, you can download Doug Lees Jaws scripts for the Audible
app to make it more accessible at

Okay, have solved my password issue, but perhaps someone can help me
with the next step.
I am currently listening to my Audible downloads via my iPhone, but
ideally I would like to do so via my Milestone. I assumed that in
order to do this Id first download them to my PC and then copy them
to my SD-card to play via my Milestone.
So, I found a book I have paid for but not listened to using my PC and
hit the download button but all I seem to have in my Downloads file is
a little file called adminhelper which Im not able to open.
Could someone please tell me the steps I need to take in order to
download an Audible book to my PC and then hopefully copy it to an
SD-card to play via my Milestone?

Hi Alison.
Have you linked your Amazon account to audible? When they were
separate services you may have had an Audible username and password
separately to Amazon. Now might be the time to link the two if this
is the case. If this doesnt solve your problem or your Audible
account is already linked into amazon, have you tried logging in using
a different device or browser? Also things like clearing your cookie
and temporarily internet files might be necessary. Finally, and this
may seem obvious but have you checked things like capitalisation of
your password, IE has the caps lock key been pressed accidentally or
is the caps lock on when it shouldnt be?
Hope one of these suggestions helps.

I use Amazon frequently and have no problem in it recognising me. But
when I try to access Audible via my PC, Amazon keeps querying my
password. Ive changed it once because of this but dont want to keep
changing my password.
The odd thing is that when I use my iPhone to go to Audible and it
asks me to log in, it is accepting my fingerprint so presumably my
password.
Is anyone else having this issue with passwords?
