It might be a lot like the Amazon site. Once some blind folk had difficulty with the main site. They complained about the problems they were having. An alternative site was created. Which, as far as I understand it, was not kept up to standard with the main site. Further as either computer skills, or screen reader technology advances progressed, we blind folk were better able to navigate the site. Thereby eliminating the necessity, in my opinion, for the screen reader accessible site. Also, a separate site gives the impression we aren't able to navigate sites designed for everyone else. Which isn't always true. Though there may be exceptions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry clasper" <terry.clasper@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

To be honest I am not sure what all the fuss was about.Sure the access page looks very similar to the old style site and it works ok, but, having said that, I didn't have an issue with the new site once I'd taken time to understand how it worked. For sure it and a couple of accessibility issues but no worse than many of the other sites I need and want to access on a daily basis. On 14 May 2013, at 12:33, "Griffiths, Steve" <Steve.Griffiths@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:The Audible.co.uk site now has a message at the top of each page about accessibility, and directing people to www.audible.co.uk/access.
