Hi Barbra.
Now I know for a fact that the Asus range use the widcomm Bluetooth stack, so
there will be an icon which popped up in the system tray saying that a device
attempted to connect to your computer and to click here to enter the passkey.
I presume you've gone through the add new device wizard? Find that icon, left
click it and you'll be placed in the Bluetooth pairing box window, usually for
a headset the code is 0000 so type that in and click next.

I know Andy on this list has an Asus netbook, but if anyone else does I'd
be glad of some help.
I'm trying to connect a Bluetooth headset to my netbook, however I get
stuck at the part where it asks for a password. On the PC a box came up on the
screen for me to type into, but no such box appears on the netbook and then of
course I get the dialogue saying pairing failed and a Cancel and Try Again
buttons.
So, how do I get around this? Is there an option to uncheck it asking for a
password? Or is there a password edit box but JAWS isn't reading it?
