Do you mean that it has a blank area at the top and bottom
of the screen, or that the whole screen has turned sideways?

If the first, it's usually due to an incorrect screen
resolution.

If the second, then it's usually due to a "Rotate" function.

Either can normally be fixed via Control Panel, Display
Settings.

If you don't have XP SP2 installed, plus the copious
patches, installing same should cure a known problem which
exhibits the same symptoms.

George.

A friend who is totally blind tells me that her husband
informed her that her screen has gone over to landscape.
She asked me whether installing k1000 had anything to do
with this and I told her that it wouldn't cause that to
happen. Has anyone on the list any ideas as to what might
have happened and how to fix it.=20
