Almost.  The only difference is that you lift and tap, instead of just
letting go.  In Talks it is called explore mode.

True. Does Talks allow for the same flexibility though? For example I 
like the idea where in touch typing mode you move your finger across the 
screen until you find the letter you want, then let go to select it.
