I found NVDA to be very confusing. We could not get our heads around the
object navigation.
    But yes VO is great.

I haven't used windows for 18 months now and it's great.

Voiceover on the mac is fantastic once you get over the learning curve
the only reason I am having win 7 put on my mac is so I can use my bookcourier
for a project I have coming up and bc will only transfer successfully under
windows, I'll be using nvda for that though because it is open source and can
be adapted for my needs.

A mac book is more expensive than a window lap top but when you compare
the quality, speed and reliability Apple wins hands down.
