A good reason for keeping your anti spyware program updated.

It may also be that the very fact that such messages are badly written is a coded way of getting into your system to gain information from it! Spyware in other words.

this is spam, nothing what so ever to do with antivirus software. I have
received these things myself and am not exactly sure what the aim really is.
it seems to be an ad for something combined with or jumbled together with a
story such as David Copperfield.

Given that these messages often want to fool people into buying services
that are almost always questionable it is amazing how often you see really
badly written messages. It may be that a writer of such messages has just
got hold of your details.

Cheers

Hi Chris,

I use Avastt, and it is up to date, and I run a full system scan once a
week.
All the best

No! Do you have decent antivirus software installed such as Nod32? If so,
have you updated it recently and performed a full system scan? Just a
couple
of thoughts.
