Hi James.

Something I forgot to mention for future reference, if you continue to receive 403 errors it may be worth checking what PHP version the server is set to run. You can change to prior versions though this isn't recommended for security. Luke, if you need a hand signing up drop me a note off list and I'll be more than happy to assist. it only takes 2 minutes to fill the form in and get the account up and running, then you can make payment after signing in.

cheers,

Mo.

Hi.

That was probably a .htaccess issue. Configurations for .htaccess can vary from
host to host. You also need to check the permissions of your files and folders.
This can happen with any web host and has tripped me up a fair few times.
Whenever i've double checked it's always turned out to be either permissions or
the way .htaccess is configured. You would also need to check the settings file
for your CMS/Website as sometimes cookie domains are generated and end up no
longer being valid. I'm not saying Krystal were at fault, but it's unlikely.
They are the only host I've come across who automatically update your software
for you either to minor versions, or to any new version depending on your
settings if you install the app first using installatron. SSL encryption which
would normally cost a company loads comes as standard and SSH is also enabled.
finally, backups are included and you can schedule them as often as you like.
You don't get the above with the smaller players. just a fe
w reasons why I went with them.
cheers,

Mo.

Hi James.

I'm curious, what aspects did you find difficult about migration from
Krystal? surely all you'd need to do is generate a full CPanel backup if
you wish to close your account? In my experience, web hosts don't
generally make it easy for customers. that's why I tend to use scripts
like xcloner or built in tools in CMS platforms to generate my own
backups and migrate to the new host manually. It may seem cumbersome but
i'd rather be sure I've not missed anything relying on an automated
migration tool. I do the same for mailboxes, recreate them on the new
host and migrate data manually where possible. Obviously if there are
hundreds of mailboxes it's not practical to migrate manually.

Hi Luke.

The trick is to save your payment method to your account first.
After

tab
in
to the various edit boxes. You won't be able to review your cart at
this
point, but if you tab to the confirm order button and click it the
order
should process. It's a bit tricky but is doable. Initial setup may
require
a small amount of sighted help just to make sure everything's in
