Thanks Brian

I had wondered whether I might be able to do something like you have suggested here

Provided that there would be no conflict between Zoom Text and Window Eyes then I would hope that this might be a viable solution.

Will certainly give it a try.

Tony,

In this specific situation, using Supernova does not make a lot of sense to me. You are already used to using Zoomtext for magnification, so why not utilise the skills you already have and use Window-Eyes in conjunction with it? In other words, just purchase Window-Eyes, and switch off the Zoomtext speech. You can then use the speech from Window-Eyes to do the reading of the e-mail or other applications, and use the magnification from Zoomtext as and when you want it.

In terms of reading e-mail with Outlook Express, this will be very easy to do with Window-Eyes. W E uses Microsoft Active Accessibility to read the text from Outlook Express, so the accuracy is going to be very high indeed.

Hi Tony,
I have been using Window-Eyes with Outlook Express for the last five years and have had no trouble with it at all. If you want to write to me off list with specific questions, I'd be happy to try and answer them for you. My e-mail address is:
