Hi Tony
Windows defender is built into Windows is perfectly adequate antivirus
software these days, however if you think your machine may have been infected
with malware, you would be wise to download a copy of Malwarebytes which can
perform a scan from a portable drive to detect and remove any malicious items
that may have sneaked through. As a long-term solution going forward, you might
want to consider investing in an antivirus package like McAffee which has a
web-based interface and has A solid reputation within the industry for its
antivirus and malware detection and removal engines. They also offer a virus
free guarantee which means that if they cannot remove a virus for you, they
will give you a complete refund of your purchase. It is a subscription product
as well, so once set up and activated on your computer, it will remain
up-to-date and will automatically renew so you don’t have to worry about making
any further adjustments to the software once it’s set up. Hope this helps and
good luck removing your virus if you have one.

Hi folk,
I wonder what is the antivirus software (if any) you use for Windows 10?
Facebook is doing strange things like waving to folk when I didn't initiate
that and I never do and the latest is that FB is sending me varification
codes that it says I have requested when that is not so.
I trust not but I'm coming to the conclusion that a bug may have infiltrated
my FB account.
TIA,,
Tony
